I entered the stack from the top.

Most people start at the bottom. I came in through the surface: from frontend via deployment and operations down into enterprise virtualization. Today I work across every layer — and build websites with Vemora Studio that put this path to work.

Position · Bearings

I am Abdulaziz Vrebo. By day I keep VMware and cloud environments running as a junior system engineer. Alongside, I build websites for regional businesses with Vemora Studio. That is not a contradiction it is one connected stack: running infrastructure makes you build more robust websites. Building interfaces makes you run more understandable systems.

A career in layers

Every station of this descent is a real layer of the stack — and a real phase of my path.

Layer 01 · Interface

Entering at the surface

Intensive frontend training at Developer Akademie in Munich: JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, HTML, CSS. This is where I learned what software looks like when you can touch it — through projects like Join, El Pollo Loco and a Pokédex.

  • JavaScript
  • TypeScript
  • Angular
  • HTML & CSS

Layer 02 · Application

Complexity below the surface

Pages became systems: a Slack clone built with Angular and Firebase, a CRM tool, group projects run with Scrum. State, data flows, REST APIs, Git — and the experience that software is built in teams.

  • Firebase
  • REST APIs
  • Git
  • Scrum

Layer 03 · Virtualization

The descent into infrastructure

Beneath every web app sits an infrastructure — I wanted to know how it actually works. The move into enterprise IT: VMware vSphere, vCenter, Cloud Director, NSX-T and vSAN in production.

  • vSphere
  • vCenter
  • Cloud Director
  • NSX-T
  • vSAN

Layer 04 · Operations

Where systems get serious

Operations means responsibility for environments other people rely on: monitoring with Aria Operations, automation with PowerCLI, troubleshooting, upgrades, structured incident and change management.

  • Incident & Change

Layer 05 · Full stack

The return to the surface

With Vemora Studio the path leads back up — this time carrying the knowledge of the deep. Websites for local businesses, built with modern web tech, Playwright QA, Cloudflare deployments and AI-assisted workflows. I build interfaces with an operator’s eye.

  • Astro
  • Playwright
  • Cloudflare
  • AI-assisted

Not a skill list. A system.

These areas don’t sit side by side — they interlock, and every connection is lived practice.

Infrastructure

VMware vSphere, vCenter, Cloud Director, NSX-T, vSAN — the layer everything else runs on.

Automation

PowerCLI and scripting make operations repeatable — and upgrades predictable.

Web engineering

TypeScript, Angular, Astro, semantic HTML and modern CSS — from concept to interface.

Quality & delivery

Playwright tests, GitHub workflows, Cloudflare deployments: quality is a process, not luck.

Way of working

Structured analysis trained by incident and change work — applicable to any problem.

AI-assisted

Claude- and Codex-assisted development with review discipline: build faster, verify deliberately.

Operations experience makes my websites more robust. Web thinking makes my systems easier to understand.

Vemora Studio

Co-builder · Engineering

Together with Ahmed Mekic I am building Vemora Studio — a web studio for local businesses that need a website that actually works for them.

My part: technical concept, development, responsive UI, performance, SEO and visibility in AI search, accessibility, QA with Playwright, GitHub workflows and deployment via Cloudflare.

Where it all began: the training-era projects, still online and unchanged. They mark the starting point — the distance to today is the real content of this site.
