Starting point

Vrebo Bau is a construction and renovation business from Freilassing, offering services from interior fit-out to refurbishment and facility care. The web presence needed a rebuild: clearly structured services, regional visibility and a direct contact flow for project inquiries.

My role

Concept, design and the complete technical implementation of the relaunch — from information architecture through the responsive interface to deployment. The source code is publicly available on GitHub.

Technical approach

Statically generated Astro architecture with TypeScript: fast load times without unnecessary client JavaScript, semantic HTML for search engines, and large-format photography that puts the craft front and center.

Challenges

Reconciling large-format imagery with fast load times, structuring a broad range of services without clutter, and making the site work just as well on a phone at the construction site as on a desktop.
